Di Shepherd is a Womens Fitness Trainer, Wellness Coach and Menopause Coach, committed to empowering women on their health and wellness journeys. Originally from Australia, she now calls Singapore home.

“I’m a recovering perfectionist who ditched a high stress corporate exec job, in favour of learning more about fitness, health and wellness, to help others become fit and strong for longevity of life!

I have vast experience programming group fitness classes and personal training sessions after running my own outdoor bootcamp business, 'ibelieve fitness', in Sydney, Australia for 7 years. These bootcamps incorporated a mix of Strength, Cardio, Interval and Boxing workouts with signature Mummy Bootcamp and Express Squad sessions.

Most recently, I founded ‘A Healthy Move’ driven by my mission to help women stay fit and strong during midlife, while cultivating healthy habits and routines that seamlessly fit into busy lives.

I’ve combined my diverse training and expertise to specialise on practical, functional strength training to promote ease of movement as we age. I pride myself on providing a safe, supportive space, along with empowerment tools for women to feel seen and heard as they navigate the hormonal shifts of perimenopause and beyond.

“For me, exercise is a powerful tool that enhances both my physical health and mental well-being. It helps me stay resilient and energised, especially while managing the demands of raising an energetic son and my own perimenopause journey.

My family took a leap into ‘expat life’ just 2.5 weeks after our son was born. Our adventure began in New York and later led us to Singapore where I am currently based. We love the opportunity to live internationally, explore the world together with our young son and immerse ourselves in diverse cultures.

My personal health journey has also included overcoming burnout, managing workplace stress, rebuilding strength post-injury, and training for long-distance runs and half marathons. 

I am passionate about sharing the transformative benefits of functional strength training, resistance training and holistic health & wellness practices, while being dedicated to helping women thrive through midlife and the challenges of perimenopause and menopause, to stay strong and healthy.
